Same reason you can't make duplicate files in Pokemon games TC, the best thing I can recommend is to just use PS saves to test for a female character and see if you prefer it to the male setup you have There is absolutely nothing else you can do to duplicate your file to the best of my knowledge EDIT outside of a 3rd party device
Mhw save editor change name-About this mod This one works for the latest MHW Fatalis update, change your name and enjoy Only tested char name change but afaik with the right address the rest should work also I am not responsible for any breaking your save/game, use at your own risk "Edit Player's Name" and "Edit Palico's Name" After activating these options, save your game and reload the save file to see the names change Note the maximum length for character/palico's name is 24 bytes in utf8 encoding (24 English letters/812 Unicode characters)

This is a MHW Save Editor For the time being it allows changing the steam id (in case you want to use someone else's save), editing the investigation list, editing inventory, editing your name and resetting your edit voucher usage Save Editor Mhw If you want to contribute the project is open to pull requests but is going to be phased out for a Python port in the near future If you want toI was googling whether I can rename my hunter, and came across your post So amazing is this name, that I am perfectly fine replying to a 2monthold post to tell you that it is amazing 2 Continue this thread level 1 Id_tap__that 4y same thing happend to my buddy Only way to fix it is to restart unfortunately
